Inside Community Intelligence

A working system, not a prompt box.

Match your product to a curated community catalog, see why each room fits, review rules and posting windows, and decide which communities power planning and monitoring.

01

Curated room profiles

Keep audience niches, formats, size bands, self-promotion tolerance, rules links, windows and adjacent communities in one catalog.

02

Explainable fit ranking

See the matched niches and reasoning behind a recommendation instead of accepting an opaque list of popular subreddits.

03

Rules and corpus context

Use live room profiles when available and label catalog fallbacks honestly when the shared corpus has not read a room yet.

04

Reversible founder control

Approve, remove or add rooms without a refresh erasing the decision you already made.

The workflow

Every step stays visible.

You can see the evidence, the recommendation and the next action before anything leaves The Subdude.

  1. 01

    Detect the audience niches

Match the product facts and buyer problem against the catalog's niche vocabulary.

  2. 02

    Blend fit signals

Combine deterministic ranking with bounded model judgment that can only choose known catalog entries.

  3. 03

    Review each room

Inspect the rationale, rules, tolerance, formats and posting window before approving it.

  4. 04

    Power the system

Use the approved map consistently across the Playbook and SubRadar.

Human-control boundary

A recommendation is not permission to promote.

The fit score helps you choose where to listen. You still check current rules, contribute in the room's format and decide whether a product mention belongs.

Answers for careful founders

What founders ask about Community Intelligence.

The short version of how The Subdude works, where automation stops, and what you remain in control of.

How many communities are in the catalog?

The current catalog contains 306 curated subreddits. Each record includes audience niches, a size band, self-promotion tolerance, formats, a posting window, a rules link and a practical reminder.

How are subreddit recommendations ranked?

The deterministic matcher weighs niche overlap, community focus, primary-niche fit, canonical relevance, size and self-promotion tolerance, with a penalty for vendor-owned support rooms when the product has no relevant relationship.

Can I change the recommended list?

Yes. Communities can be approved, removed or added by the founder. A removed community is not silently revived by a later re-rank, and a manually added room outside the catalog is labeled unverified.

Where are approved communities used?

The approved map drives campaign rotation, SubRadar discovery and posting windows. That keeps planning and monitoring pointed at the same rooms you reviewed.
